The educational infrastructure in Chakwal is physically well developed. The governement has provided the maximum possible educational facilities so that a fair opportunity is provided to the people of Chakwal to invest in their human capital.
At present there are 5 degree colleges, 2 intermediate colleges, 10 higher secondery schools, 131 high schools, 937 primary schools and 208 Maktab schools in the district.
