Weather and Climate

Chakwal lies in the subtropical region and its climate is typical of the area, with the exception that it varies a little on the cooler side, owing to its elevation, from central Punjab.  Winter temperatures normally range between –4° C and 25° C, and summer temperatures average between 15° C and 40° C and may go upto a maximum of 15° C.
